Last but certainly not least, our Grade 1 & 2 students wrapped up their year-end adventures with a wonderful field trip to Police Point Park yesterday, where they explored nature, learned, and enjoyed the great outdoors. 🌿😊 To top off an already amazing day, everyone headed to Panorama Lanes for a fun-filled afternoon of bowling, sharing lots of smiles, laughter, and friendly competition! 🎳 A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful parent drivers and to Mrs. Robertson for generously volunteering your time to make this special day possible. Grade 4 Field Trip to the Bodo Archaeological Society 🦴🏹 Our Grade 4 students enjoyed an incredible learning experience at the Bodo Archaeological Society! Through hands-on activities and a visit to a real shallow archaeological dig site, students explored Indigenous ways of life from the past and gained a deeper appreciation for history. Students had the opportunity to search for, identify, and catalog bones, lithics, and rocks just like real archaeologists. They also had a blast participating in Indigenous games and friendly competitions in the gym. Despite the windy, rainy, and chilly weather, one of the day’s highlights was learning to use the traditional spear-throwing tool known as an atlatl. Congratulations to Grant, who was the only student to hit the bale target! 🎯 A special thank you to Kirby and Paul for driving, and to Jamie for accompanying the class and helping make this memorable day possible.
